Jonathan Stutzman - Writer/Director


Jonathan Stutzman grew up by the shore on the coast of Virginia, and inherited a hunger to tell stories from the childhood inspiration of old films, novels, bedtime stories, and music. Jonathan has written and directed a diverse number of films, including: Amelioration, Sea Salt, the Day Dad Died, and Blaue Blume. Along with a collection of scripts, including two features, Jonathan has penned a handful of short stories and children’s books. Jonathan graduated from Messiah College with a degree in Communication with a Film emphasis, and is currently a Graduate student at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) in their MFA Film program.

Christian Imbesi - Producer


Christian grew up in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania where he attended Sun Valley High School. Christian always had an interest in movies, but it was not until his senior year at Sun Valley that he created his first short film titled, "Clumsy Attraction."

After his high school graduation in 2005 , Christian went on to attend Messiah College where he studied Communication and Film. While studying at Messiah, Christian worked on numerous films, wearing a different hat for each production. Some of his credits include; cinematographer/producer for the Jonathan Stutzman feature film, "Sea Salt," sound operator for the Krista Hamlen film, "Quantum," producer for the Jared Skinner film, "Revengance," and writer/director/editor for his own film, "Noctambulism." In the fall of 2008, Christian studied producing and documentary film at Temple University in Philadelphia. It was at this time that he made his first complete documentary titled, "Running to Finish," which featured Christian, himself.

Immediately Following his graduation from Messiah College in May of 2009, Christian journeyed for the summer to Hollywood where he interned with two successful producers at Intuition Productions. Now, at age twenty-three, Christian resides once again in the Philadelphia area, working as a photographer.

In September of 2009 Christian was approached by Jonathan Stutzman and asked to take the reigns as producer on "Paper Turtle."

James Knightly - Cinematographer


James Knightly grew up in rural Maine, making movies with his parents' VHS camcorder. In junior high he created a series entitled Cat Hunting, in which he stalked the family's cat, Joe, with a rubber band gun. While attending Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, he developed an interest in graphic arts and photography. In June 2005, he graduated tenth in his class and chose to study film production at Messiah College. In 2007, he was inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honor Society.
That same year, he studied abroad at Temple University and the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham, England. While in England, he relentlessly pursued street photography, exploring the work of various photographers and shooting whenever he could. James has worked as the director of photography for numerous films including Wood & Steel (16mm), Greenhorn (digital video), The Blind (Super-16mm). Currently residing in South Philadelphia, he works at Jamie Moffett Media Design & Production. He is passionate about the visual arts and aspires to become a professional cinematographer.
